Demonstrates how to convert a variety of strings into their numeric equivalents and back.
1) Feet and inches like 22' 3-1/2" into its decimal equivalent and back. 2) Pounds and ounces like 2 lbs. 6oz. into its decimal equivalent and back. 3) A string date like 20021703 or 03172002 into a real date (03/17/2002) based on a given format. 4) Time values stored in a date/time field as strings showing hours:minutes 5) Add time values stored in text fields as strings.
