This sample db enables the user to set up temporary copies of Back End db's and re-link the tables accordingly. At the end of session, the links get re-set to original BE's. Multiple Back Ends as well as those with db password are handled. Copies of temp BE's are placed in respective folders containing the original BE's. On opening the form F_ToggleLinks, temp BE's get created, tables get re-linked and the current status gets displayed. Whenever desired, the user can toggle table links between Temp and Original BE's. (Each time a fresh toggle is done, existing temp copy of BE, if any, gets over- written) On closing the form F_ToggleLinks, user is prompted for deletion of temp copies of BE's. On closing the form F_ToggleLinks, all links get automatically restored to original BE's. How To Use This Sample: (a) Simply import the form F_ToggleLinks and table T_Link into your working FE. (b) Go to VBA window (Alt + F11) and make sure References are set up for DAO 3.6 and Microsoft Scripting RunTime (c) Save, compile and then come out of VBA window (Alt + Q) Versions - Access XP & 2K (both in Access 2000 File Format) References - DAO 3.6 and Microsoft Scripting RunTime
