ChooseReportFromList2.mdb These forms illustrate some advanced features in a "Report Switchboard". For less complex examples, see "ChooseReportFromList.mdb"
-- Choose Report or Parameter Form allows the user to select either a report directly or a form in which they can choose a parameter for the report. With the Parameter Form, the routine opens a form instead of the report directly. The report is opened from the parameter form instead. Reports that show in the list MUST have an "rpt" prefix. Parameter forms that appear in the list MUST have an "rpf" prefix. Reports that are run from the Parameter form SHOULD NOT have a prefix (or they will appear in the list as well, and you don't want that.) -- Choose Report or Query allows the user to select either a report or a query from the listbox. Reports that show in the list MUST have an "rpt" prefix. Queries that appear in the list MUST have an "qrpt" prefix. Queries that you do not want in the list SHOULD NOT have that prefix. The option box which objects will be shown in the list. Choosing a different option rebuilds the RowSource for the list. It also determines which object (report, form, or query) will be opened.. |
