I had problems whereby I could not get rid of BLOAT. Compacting, Repairing, Import to New, Decompile, etc. Nothing would entirely get rid of it. Then I remembered that I had this program which I had written for backups etc, and I thought why not try that? and you know what? It worked! A FrontEnd which was constantly creeping over the 100Mb was reduced to 21Mb. Or just use it for backups....whatever.
