Form_ToolTipsForDatasheet This sample db demonstrates a simplified implementation of simulated tool tip feature for datasheet forms.
Two styles are demonstrated. Both quite straight forward.
Style A is completely free of any API call and displays the tool tip at top left corner of the form.
Style B makes use of API GetCursorPos() and shows the tool tip on form body.
Note:
For best results, it is desirable that the user should wait for current tool tip to disappear, before attempting to evoke the tool tip for any other control/column.
