This sample db demonstrates a continuous form featuring: (a) Key Navigation (Datasheet Style) (b) Graded Highlighting Of Multiple Selected Records Pattern of Highlighting: (a) Current record (whether fully selected or not) - Light Blue. (b) Other records, which form part of current selection block - Orange Yellow. (c) Other records, which were selected at any time earlier in current session - Light Purple. (d) All highlights other than that for current record can be undone by dbl clicking any row. 4.3 - Selection of records: (a) Single record - Click on record selector. (b) Multiple records at a time - Click on record selector of top desired record and drag the mouse to record selector of bottom desired record. (Alternatively, you can hold down shift key and then click the record selector for bottom desired record, or use Dn Arrow key to expand the selection suitably). Note - (a) Using Up/Dn arrow keys alone, when a group of records is in selected state, moves the whole selection mask accordingly (b) List of primary key values for records that have been selected so far (even if not in current selection) is stored in form's global variable named SelectList. (c) For a given file (Access 2000 file format), performance of dynamic conditional highlighting is found to be much better in Access 2003 installation. In case of Access 2K & XP installations, there is noticeable time lag for final rendering of conditional colors to take effect. (In the mean time, for a brief transient period, all existing colors appear to get lost temporarily). (d) Form's KeyPreview property should be set to Yes.
