Function_TopXfromY This sample db demonstrates extraction of a specified block of records (X numbers) from the source query, starting at a given position (record number Y). It is observed that in case of large data, a query having ORDER BY clause, becomes unacceptably slow, if TOP predicate is included. The method shown in this sample db gets the results promptly. Moreover, the user can specify the starting point (Y), while fetching the block of X records. Version: Access 2000 file format. Download File >>: uploads/37/Function_TopXfromY.zip
