You can use the module basAccessJetVersion to detect which version of Access (from Access 97 to Access 2002, the version supplied with Office XP) has been installed. It might work with Access 95. This module can also supply the version of the Jet data engine that Access uses. Because there are numerous patches and updates for the various Access and Jet versions, you can use this module to check which service pack/service release has been installed (try the function accessjetversions). Based on code by Marty Connelly in Access-L. Formats: Access 97 and Access 2000/2002
