in many applications, a login is not for security as much as for ease of reporting and finding information.

Here is a sample application with a Login Initials Popup form.

login form does not collect a password -- only make it easy to enter user initials and identify themselves.

Two methods are use on the sample input form:

1. use a command button to fill a particular control -- parameter is passed using OpenArgs

and

2. double click on a control to pop up a form to fill the Active Control
Since a numeric ID is being collected, a number is shown -- control can be changed to a combo to look up other info
