   This page is something of a work-in-progress.  It is my attempt to provide some help with basic Database Design and Application Design using Microsoft Access.  The tutorials here emphasize the design process rather than teaching specific Access instructions.  So while I may walk you through creating a form, I will then ask you to create several more forms in the same way with minimal instruction.
The Database Design section highlights several topics important to database design.  Following these are Zip files, each containing a design problem and its solution.
The Application Design section contains several hands-on tutorials, each of which walks you through creating an entire application.
It will be helpful to have one or more reference books about Access usage.  My Links page has several that I recommend.
