This sample db demonstrates tracking of name changes spread over different records. Basic data is contained in a table having three fields (one primary key - autonumber type, and two text fields named OldName & NewName respectively). For each OldName, there is a NewName & vice versa. As an illustration, one typical set of records might be - OLDNAME NEWNAME CocaCola CocaColaClassic CocaColaClassic CherryCoke CherryCoke CherryCokeClassic CherryCokeClassic DietCoke The sample db enables correlation of any OldName with the last NewName in the sequence. Similarly, it correlates any NewName with the first OldName in the sequence. Data entry incorporates autocomplete feature for OldName field (filling in the closest match from the recently filled NewNames).
